I took a little break from making Girl M. another McCall 7193 top to make the Simplicity 8172 Kimono sleeve topper. I've had this pattern in my stash for a few years and kept putting it aside.
I cut a size large for Girl M and I was able to try it on. I did let out the sleeve circumference 1/2" but other than that it was a quick sew and very flattering.

The top is a little big in the back on Girl M. but once she wore it for a few minutes she warmed up to it. I'm thinking this is going to be a shared item.
