Wardrobe By Me Hera Summer Top

I found a "new to me" PDF pattern company that I wanted to try out a top pattern I liked.  By their measurements I need a size 12.  There was no way that I'm a size 12!  NO WAY!  But I thought what the heck, I'll give it a try with a muslin.

Guess what???? It fit!

I love the style of this top.  It looks so cool and summer like.  The only pattern changes that  I needed were to take a 1/4" tuck on the crossover above the bust to fit it a little closer to my body and lengthen the sleeves 1".  I am just amazed at how great this top turned out.

I had a Large scale floral print  rayon challis fabric from FabricMartFabrics.com that I thought would make a beautiful version.

I'm happy with the Wardrobe By Me Hera Summer Top and will be checking into their website more often to see what else they have that I may like.

Until next time..................

  1. OMG really pretty! And you apparently have no idea how small you are getting. I'm so excited for you.

  2. I like the color of your top. I like purple myself. My fav color. Intersting way to make something with a usual simplicity pattern. Thanks for commenting on my blog. I am feeling better each day thankfully!! Have a good week!
