McCall 6444 Red Jersey Knit Cardigan

I have had this RTW skirt for a few years and have hardly worn it since I didn't have a top to go with it.  Thinking that since Fall is going to get here one day, a cardigan would be a good idea......

Red jersey knit was just the ticket.  I can wear a tank or a t-shirt under and be out the door.

Digging through my knit pattern stash, I came across the McCall 6444 cardigan.  It's a very casual , loose cardigan.  I used my armhole & sleeve template as usual and used my serger for a rolled hem finish along the edges.

This cardigan is very casual, borderline sloppy looking.  But it is a nice light weight jersey cardigan that I can just throw on.

I'm off to sew something wonderful...................!

Until next time......................

  1. Love it! Especially the fabric and color. An easy make that goes with almost everything. Now I need to squeeze one of these on my 'ever-growing' sewing list.

  3. Where do you get your knits? I find that Fabric.com has very wimpy, thin knits and yours seem a better quality. I have enjoyed all your posts.
