In July I was asked to be a pattern tester for Love Notions La Bella Donna Tunic. I have never pattern tested before and felt a little overwhelmed at first. I made a muslin/trial run of the pattern, making a mistake on the sleeve length. But overall the pattern fit great and I kinda liked the shorter sleeve version I made up.

I used a piece of jersey knit fabric from my stash and think that this top will be great over a long sleeve t-shirt in the cooler months (if it ever comes!). The temperatures here in Florida are in the high 90's with extreme heat warning. I can't wait until January's cooler temperatures.

I don't think I've ever made anything with a hood. The pattern directions were easy to follow and the hood had plenty of room.

Overall I am happy with the fit and sure that the next version will be a quick sew.
